Installed within the fan zone at the Aviva Stadium, this interactive football game invited supporters to test their shot accuracy in a 30-second challenge before kick-off. Players aimed at on-screen targets on aa high-brightness LED display, earning points with every successful target hit, while friends and fellow fans gathered to watch.

To create the experience, we transformed a standard LED screen into a fully interactive game using LiDAR to detect the exact impact location of each football. A custom-built real-time media server handled the gameplay, scoring system and responsive visuals, giving us complete creative control over the experience. The system delivered instant, reliable ball tracking in bright daylight conditions while maintaining the speed and responsiveness needed for a competitive game.

Building the game from the ground up allowed us to tailor every aspect of the experience, from the visual design and game mechanics to the scoring and leaderboard system. The result was a robust activation that encouraged repeat plays, drew crowds and created an atmosphere that captured some of the excitement of stepping onto the pitch.
